5 ways to boost your campaign on Social Media

Edited

Chuffed's Campaign Success team shares 5 key ways you can make more impact when promoting your campaign on social media.

Social media can be one of the most powerful tools for your campaign, and it doesn't have to be complicated. Here are a few successful strategies that have worked for campaigners connect with more supporters.

IMPORTANT – Before you post, add your Chuffed campaign link to your bio. Make it easy for your supporters to donate.

1. 📌 Pin a screenshot of your campaign page.

This visual cue helps new supporters understand that you’re fundraising and navigate to your donation page.

2. 📢 Always include a clear CTA.

Every post and caption should have a clear call-to-action (CTA). Tell your audience exactly what to do, like visiting the link in your bio to donate, and you’ll keep momentum going for your campaign.

Here are some examples of CTAs you can include on your next posts:

  • Your support matters. Click the link in our bio to donate today.

  • Support our campaign by donating at the link in our bio.

  • Help us reach our goal. Donate through the link in our bio.

3. 🤝 Reach out to collaborators.

Partner on posts with like-minded creators, organizations, or supporters. Even a few aligned voices can amplify reach on your social posts, and your campaign, in unexpected ways.

4. 🎉 Celebrate wins publicly.

Even small milestones make your campaign feel active, encourage momentum, and reinforce the message that your campaign still needs support.

5. 🔑 Consistency is key.

Regular updates keep your community involved and motivated to support. Behind-the-scenes moments are a great way to do this, too! Share photos or short clips of your team working, volunteers helping, or your campaign in action. People love seeing the real-world work behind a cause.

Even one or two of these changes can make a real difference. Pick what feels most doable and start there — and remember, your community wants to hear from you!
