Fee Models

Creating a campaign on Chuffed is free — we don't charge platform fees by default. The only fees you'll incur depend on which fee model your campaign uses.

There are three fee models to consider:

• Shared Model

• Keep 100% Model

• Flat fee Model

1. Ensure you are logged into your Chuffed account

2. Open your campaigns dashboard (https://chuffed.org/dashboard)

3. Click the ‘Manage’ button to Edit your campaign

4. Select ‘Donation Form’ under Optional Features > Customize

5. Scroll to the ‘Choose Payment Model’ section and select your preferred fee model

6. Save the page to finalize the change

Under this model, the payment processing fee (2-3%) is automatically deducted from each donation, and you receive the net amount. The donor can then choose to give an optional donation to Chuffed.org on top of their donation.

Here's what you receive when using the Shared model for a $25 donation.

You keep 100% of your donation. The donor pays card fees on top of their donation and can choose to give an optional donation to Chuffed.org.

This model is not available for EU/UK campaigners due to payment processing regulations. From 24 September 2026, the Keep 100 model will no longer be available for campaigns in Australia.

Here's what you receive when using the Keep 100 model for a $25 donation.

The campaigner will pay the card fees (2-3%) plus a Chuffed.org platform fee (4.9% + GST/VAT) out of the donation. The donor pays nothing on top of their donation.

• Why can't I see the Keep100 model option?

This model is not available for EU/UK campaigners due to payment processing regulations. If your campaign is based in Australia, new Australian Government regulations may apply - check out our article 24 September 2026 - Keep 100 fee changes in Australia for more information.

• Can I apply multiple fee models in a single campaign?

No, only one fee model can be applied to your campaign. It's not possible to apply different fee models based on specific rules.

• Can I change my fee model part-way through my campaign?

Yes, you can change your fee model while your campaign is Live and actively receiving donations. You will be able to reconcile which fee model applied using your Chuffed reports.
