Email journeys

The email journeys feature on Chuffed.org allows you to configure what emails go out to your donors, fundraisers and administrators when certain events happen. When defining the email content for an email journey, you can use merge fields to make the content of your email journey more dynamic and personalised.

There are three journey types: Donor, Fundraiser and Campaign. Below is a list of available merge fields for each journey type.

All journeys

Merge field	Description
\|RECIPIENT_FIRSTNAME\|	First name of the person receiving the email (not available in subject lines)
\|RECIPIENT_LASTNAME\|	Last name of the person receiving the email (not available in subject lines)
\|CAMPAIGN_OWNER\|	Campaign owner's name
\|CAMPAIGN_TITLE\|	Title of the campaign
\|CAMPAIGN_URL\|	URL of the campaign

Donor journeys

Merge field	Description
\|DONOR_FIRSTNAME\|	First name of the donor
\|DONOR_NAME\|	Full name of the donor
\|DONATION_AMOUNT\|	Amount that was donated

Fundraiser journeys

Merge field	Description
\|FUNDRAISER_FIRSTNAME\|	First name of the fundraiser
\|FUNDRAISER_LASTNAME\|	Last name of the fundraiser
\|FUNDRAISER_NAME\|	Full name of the fundraiser

Campaign journeys

Merge field	Description
\|CAMPAIGN_RAISED\|	Amount raised by the campaign
\|CAMPAIGN_TARGET\|	Target for the campaign
\|CAMPAIGN_TARGET_PERCENT\|	Percentage raised in relation to target
\|CAMPAIGN_NUM_SUPPORTERS\|	Number of supporters
