What’s the difference between Fundraisers and Teams?

A fundraiser is a dedicated page for an individual supporter to collect donations on behalf of a campaign. Once created, they can share the page to start raising funds — any donations they receive will be reflected on their individual fundraiser and automatically contribute to the campaign's overall fundraising total.

A team page is an additional separate page that supporters can create to represent a group of people they are fundraising with. Supporters must first set up their individual fundraiser page - then they can join or create a team to fundraise with.

This is common for schools, workplaces, friends or families to use to represent the combined impact of their individual fundraising efforts. This is because any donations received to their individual fundraiser will automatically apply to the team’s fundraising total (and the campaign’s overall fundraising total).

Team pages allow individuals to work together to reach a common team fundraising goal - while still recognizing each fundraiser’s individual impact.
